I recently took Adam Wade’s excellent storytelling class at the Magnet Theater, where I worked on a story about applying to Clown College when I was in high school. I told this story at a Moth Story Slam. . .

One of Adam’s precepts is: strive to be the exact same person on stage as you are sitting in the audience. I love that. I’ve come to realize that for me, acting is not just pretend play, it’s an opportunity to experience life more fully and truly and deeply. I look forward to more opportunities!
